This means the school is open for 32.5 hours in a typical week.

Children are not allowed to leave the school premises during school hours unless prior arrangements have been made with the Headteacher AND they are collected by their parents.

When school finishes the children who travel by taxi are escorted onto their transport. If for any reason you are unable to collect your child by 3.25 p.m. please let us know. All visitors to the school are requested to report to the school office.

Playtime: 1030 – 1045

At playtime every child in years R, 1 & 2 are offered a free piece of fresh fruit or vegetable.  This is supplied through the government’s School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme which aims to give children a positive and enjoyable experience of fruit and vegetables and to contribute to the recommended five portions each day.

Fresh drinking water is always available – there is water available in each classroom.

Dinner Time: 12.00 (12.15 for Junior Children) – 1.00 (1.15 for Junior Children)

Children may go home at dinner time or remain in school.  If they remain in school they will require a packed lunch or a school dinner.
