• Year 4 Music Workshop at Axe Valley Academy

  The children from Year 4 had a musical, fun-filled day with Mr Jevons at Axe Valley Academy, learning about a wide range of instruments, folk music and about the history of steel pans. They had the opportunity to play a sea shanty using these instruments and learned how to perform Count on Me, by Bruno Mars on the steel pans. 

  

• Trip to the cricket

  Some of our year 3,4 and 5 children spent a day at Taunton watching Western Storm vs South East Stars. 

   

  We all had a great day enjoying the cricket. The children were able to get some autographs of the players, take part in some fun activities and watch some professional sport.
